ATTRACTIONS AND SIGHTSEEING

Sarawak, known as Land of the Hornbills, is an amazing place where you can experience the best of “old world charm” with “new world convenience”. Sarawak was once known hundreds of years ago for its fierce headhunting tradition (which is no longer practiced today). Today, it is rapidly gaining ground as a place where Business Meets Adventure.
Sarawak is the largest State of Malaysia’s 13 States, which covers an area of 125,000 sq. km, approximately the size of Greece. The steep interior terrain, luxuriant with tropical rainforests, gives birth to mighty rivers. The population is 2.6 million people, approximately 10 percent of Malaysia’s population. From towering mountains to underwater diving treasures, Sarawak has it all. One of the iconic UNESCO World Heritage Site worth visiting is the Mulu National Park covering 55,000 hectares. It is the biggest National Park in Sarawak with mystery and magic of Borneo that lured the cream of the scientific world since it was first discovered
Sarawak is a place rich in natural resources (timber, oil, gas among them), tens of thousands of species of flora and fauna, and a harmonious multi-cultural, multi-racial community population of 28 different ethnic groups.
